California Prune Protein Smoothie

A protein smoothie in the morning always starts my day off right. It’s my favourite way to incorporate a ton of amazing ingredients into one. Lately, I’ve been adding California Prunes into my smoothies. It’s such a healthy and delicious ingredient that’s really leveled up my smoothies. California Prunes is an amazing superfood that is great for your gut health and digestion. Helps reduce inflammation and lower cholesterol. Full of amazing vitamins and minerals and so much more! This recipe has the perfect mix of protein and superfoods to fuel me for the day, give me enough energy and to stop that midday slump.

What’s even better is it is so easy to make. It will take only a few minutes to collect all your ingredients and another few minutes to blend. I personally like to use frozen blueberries and strawberries to add that little thickness to the smoothie but if you only have fresh ingredients you can always add ice cubes!
